Commissioned by Elisa Valenzuela in collaboration with Maroussia Rebecq and Florence Parot, "Out of Print" presented digitally evolving work by French artists. The exhibition questioned current and future forms of communication by insisting on one question: how can we participate and give shape to a digital landscape that is in perpetual transformation? For this occasion, Golgotha created an art installation consisting of a jumble of screens. The images shown were created by software programmed to produce infinitely abstract visuals with a magma-like appearance. Originally exhibited at Le Coeur, in Paris, the piece was again shown at the Iso for Unseen Amsterdam. Commissioned by Maroussia Rebecq, a second video loop piece designed by Golgotha was included in the Dutch exhibition. Carried as a good luck charm on the back of a drone during a speed race, a 3D scan of the creator's image contorts when the machine goes through illuminated doors.
